As the 2022 Boating Season begins to kick off, we can all rest assured that the New York Harbor will be busier than ever. With the expansion of the Brooklyn ONE°15 Marina’s seasonal and transient slip holders, many new boat owners will be tackling one of the world’s busiest harbors for the first time.

Aside from some basic tips, one of the first things I explain to both new and tenured is to always remember that we can ultimately only control that which is inside of our little boat. All of the rest – the wind, the current, the traffic – we must learn to work with.
