Norseman International was formed to fill a necessary and critical gap in the recreational marine industry - connecting boating enthusiasts with their passion for boating, safely everywhere. Since our inception in 2017, our vast network of captains, as well as our key founders, continue to provide the best professional captain services throughout North America and the Caribbean including vessel deliveries, insurance-mandated orientations, lessons, and owner-owned charters.
Founder
Capt. Greg Thornton
Hailing from coastal Rhode Island then growing up in the Lakes Region of New Hampshire, Greg is an ABYC certified marine technician, holds a USCG Master 200 Ton and 100 Ton Sail Auxiliary license, and has over 15 years of experience commanding both sail and motor yachts throughout the Americas and abroad. Greg is also certified by the U.S. Coast Guard to instruct official USCG "Six Pack" OUPV and Master 100 Ton courses. His previous notable roles include BoatTest.com Test Captain, Private Client charter captain, ABYC Marine Technician, and former IBEX Innovation Awards Judge. He currently splits his time between New York and Palm Beach.
Jessica Pertuz
With roots in Queens, NY and Barranquilla, Colombia, Jessica heads up Client Relations and the Accounting at Norseman International. Additionally Jessica is an integral part of the Team at Tony Robbins Institute. During her downtown, she enjoys jumping out of planes as a certified skydiver, rock climbing with friends, and hanging out with her bulldog Layla.
